That is the nice thing about having the image as an attachment. Replies
normally don't get it & you don't have to consciously remove it before
replying...

Another potential problem - replying without deleting the original image.

I think the ability to post individual images by e-mail is an advantage,
if we can ask for some parameters such as a problem with something or some
other need for a shared single image.

I'm posting an image to the list to test out a couple of things.
First, to be sure the list will handle it. And second, to find out how it
might affect various user's mail.

It has long been against the policy of the list to send images for
several reasons - primarily, the increased space required to store them and
the additional time it takes to download mail from everyone's server.

If this image goes through ok, I ask everyone to NOT start posting
images. Instead, let's discuss the pros and cons of doing this through the
list. For example, we can limit the size of postings to prevent anyone from
sending any really large files. Or we could come up with some guidelines to
be followed.

We'll need feedback from those of you who are not able to view this
image (assuming most can). Also, if there is an outcry due to the download
time, we just want allow posting of images. Please remember that this is
only a test and proposal for discussion!

So, there should be an image below...
