Actually, after peeking at the code, most of the _li_* functions do use
cprint with erase=True, so it looks like the intention was to erase this
output... Does that make this a bug?
Check to make sure that the TERM entry is correct - erase may not
work if the code has no idea how to do a CR vs a LF.
