there was an indicator that was displayed and it was erased. the messages above aren't erased because they are telling us which zones are being operated on. so for example, here's what the actual output looks like during linked image planning: ---8<--- >Planning linked: 0/5 done; 1 working: zone:5240b Linked progress: - ---8<--- the second line is a progress tracker, and it will be erased when we're done with zone 5240b. if we were processing 2 zones at the same time we'd see: ---8<--- Planning linked: 0/5 done; 2 working: zone:5240b zone:5240c Linked progress: -| ---8<--- notice that the progress tracker now has two spinners. once again, the spinner line will be cleared when we finish with one of the zones, but the pkg client can't clear multiple lines, so we can't clear the "Planning linked" output. ed _______________________________________________ pkg-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-discuss
