I thought that it was suggested to solicit feedback from the org before submitting applications. Isn't that what the intent in forming [email protected] was for? Also with the feedback from the several people who have emailed me off list I am not sure if this is really a workable proposal. For example, the plan 9 side of things is rather thin (I was trying not to commit to taking on to much -- one of the major mistakes cited by everyone), and to much emphasis on the linux side. Have I addressed that adequately? There is also the recent heated discussion on 9fans, and I'm wondering just how well the work would be received. I would like to sort some of that out before I formally submit it as application.
