Hi Phil: I have run examples/c/x13c -dev xwin examples/c/x15c -dev xwin here (on Debian stable) with no such issues. The valgrind report on both is good as well (aside from some unfreed memory issues at the end). So if you get similar good results for these two examples on Ubuntu and other developers here with access to Linux or Mac OS X platforms also get good results for these two examples, then I think we can breath a big sigh of relief and write this off as due to some X issue on CentOS. That (perhaps optimistic, but we will see) outcome would then leave only the rt question on CentOS and Ubuntu for you to answer before release. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
