Hi Alan,


Here are the results for MinGW32/MSYS - this fails with the well-known problem 
of the example not finding the PLplot library. Actually: the progress of the 
testing script simply halts (as witnessed by there no additional messages being 
written to the output files) and the executable x00c.exe being in the list of 
processes without any activity.

I used the new logic and it seems to have worked up to some point. See the 
attached tarball. The shared configuration worked fine, but the tests failed on 
the nondynamic one. (Not automated yet, but that is going to be my next step)
