And that's really pathetic.  Imagine, paying for something which the supplier
doesn't want to legally want to guarantee that it will work.

I mean, one wouldn't buy a car with the hood welded shut, which carries no
guarantee whatsoever that it will run, and run correctly, and most importantly,
stop safely.

And yet, there you have it ... the most dominant OS in the world  

I should stop this.  I'm preaching to the converted.
