Hi Dean,

I would rather you be heard by our congressmen and it is within your
right and privilege. The thing is the bill was filed in congress, the
chair has no other recourse but to refer that bill to an appropriate
committee. So no matter what we talked and discussed here it will
just be for our consumption in this public mailing list. No amount of
argument in this list will stop that bill from pushing on in congress.
But if you will be attending the public hearing then you could provide
insights of whatever you view as limitation, short comings or flaws
that you want to point out.

But if you ask if Linux and FOSS is good for our government, all I can
say is NSA has recommended SELinux, all fortune top 500 runs Linux in
their businesses, China is using Linux, India is using Linux and so
is Hezbollah,Alqaeda, Iran and Iraq. For whatever use and purposes
FOSS have served us all well.

I beg to differ... We're still arguing on topic.

Nothing's stopping us from doing the same here Thad, this is a
members-only public mailing list. If you don't like the discussion,
you have a choice to ignore or not read it.

You may choose to ignore them right?

You have a great day too. :-)
