Hi all, I have a Western Digital 1TB usb hard disk and now I cannot access it anymore. Thinking that the USB to SATA interface is defective, I opened the case and pulled out the SATA hard disk. BIOS correctly identified the SATA disk but dd cannot erase/write on the MBR. TestDisk cant find any existing partition.
Ive tried the tools in SysRescueCD but I was unsuccessful recovering or even reformatting the disk. Hope you can help guys. Thanks in advance.
