Maybe my cousin also has a ThinkPad... I can't get pcmcia card services
to work on my ThinkPad for some reason; the pcmcia_cs package crashes my
machine instantly on boot. Big Red Switch crash; using the most recent
pcmcia_cs (3.1.24) as well.

Small loss for me; I don't have any PCMCIA cards right now; can't find my
old 33.6k PCMCIA modem, and I don't have my PCMCIA CD-ROM with me at the
moment (a most useless device for me to experiment with: my ThinkPad has
its own internal CD-ROM), so there isn't a lot of motivation for me to
figure out what's wrong.

If anyone can suggest a good USB Ethernet NIC that works with Linux, where
we can get it here, and how much it might cost, we're both listening!
