Uhh ... actually I think the key to Migs's question is not the acronym
"RAM" but the word "type". I'm sure Migs knows more than adequately how
important the amount of RAM a system has. He is, after all, an established
professional in the field (ie: IPhil, Inter.Net).

What Migs is trying to find out is how significantly RAM type affects
overall (and gaming) performance. If I know Migs well enough, this stemmed
out from the issue of SDRAM versus RDRAM vs DDR RAM. And honestly, I don't
know the answer either (and am hoping someone [Orly?] will come out with
the answer before I buy some units we need).
