#_ What Migs is trying to find out is how significantly RAM type affects
#_ overall (and gaming) performance. If I know Migs well enough, this
#_ stemmed out from the issue of SDRAM versus RDRAM vs DDR RAM. And
#_ honestly, I don't know the answer either (and am hoping someone
#_ [Orly?] will come out with the answer before I buy some units we
#_ need).

DDR runs at twice the fsb of SDRAM. If the motherboard is actually
running at 266MHz fsb then data from RAM to CPU will travel twice as
fast using DDR than SDRAM (which is 133MHz stock).

Faster thoughput. But then disk I/O is still baduy these days. I'm still
waiting for someone to invent a non-volatile solid state storage medium
running at full processor speed in the Terra Byte size range.

Hey, it's Christmas, let me wish.
