well, i looked at it.  no need to compile even, it's distributed as

that's pretty scary, man.  it really *does* look like XP.  it's
positively pathological.  it's too bad it's very much in beta 
and stuff doesn't work yet.  i might play with it a bit, but it
doesn't seem to be usable out of the box (that might just be
configuration though, i was just looking, not seriously trying
to get it to work).

i think it's too much like windows though.  it's so like windows,
i might forget i'm in linux.  and there are linuxisms that i
need that the current interface doesn't seem to provide (like i 
didn't see virtual desktops, although it might be there, i just
didn't look very much, i got too scared because it was too much
like windows).  

thanks for the link.  when that gets to 1.0, that's sure going
to cause a lot of debate on whether it's a good thing to look
and act so much like windows :).
