Some Gainward fans are fanless. Like the Nvidia GforceFX line. Great

Err... you must be very sleepy too... fanless fans? Hehehe. I know this is a troll... Just nitpicking... =D

I think the oldest video chips generally produce the least amount of heat though... Has anybody tried removing the fan and stress test it with only the heat sink attached? If it doesn't work, maybe you can try attaching bigger heatsinks such as those being sold in electronic stores? Of course, you'd need a drill and you'll have to cut the heatsink up to make sure it doesn't get in the way of other components. Just a thought... I've never tried doing that though.

By the way, I've been able to fix my video card's fan by drilling a couple of holes on it and spraying WD40 inside. If you do that, make sure you don't drill at the center. And cover it with tape when you're done to make sure dust doesn't get inside. I think I'm moving too far off tangent here... Hehehe.

For PSUs, I highly recommend Antec. Get those with suitable voltage
for your rig (ie >= 400v recommended for AMD AXP) and if you have lots
of hard drives, etc. It also helps to have a good AVR and UPS to
protect it from power zaps.

I just checked Villman and it doesn't look like we have Antec here. :( The HEC 420W PSU looks like it's the cheapest at P2,999. It's dual fan too. I still like Enermax but it's too expensive... I got one but I think I should have spent the same amount of money on a PSU with a bigger power capacity. As it is, I don't think I can use the Enermax if I'm gonna upgrade to a P4... :(
