That's "the usual" stuff for open source conferences... I'd like
another spin on it, if possible.

I'm thinking that. Knoppix was the hot topic last year - I guess
Ubuntu would be it, now.

It's a nice topic but I don't think anyone is using them for anything
real. Or even toy projects - haven't seen any Pinoy ones. (Besides
those sitting here in my PC which I didn't deploy.)
