I have done this about three years ago when I was employed in my previous company wherein we only have a 56Kbps dial-up connection from Mozcom.


If squid's cache will be utilized, then there is a signicant increase in speed, at least when displaying static images from the web. In my case before, almost all employees with internet access are starting their day reading philstar.com and inq7.net wich is heavy on advertisement images.
