congratulations on this new update!
 
yes, one of the bigger challenges is providing tech and user support to ease up the learning curve.  this is probably mentioned in any discussion about the use of open source especially linux and openoffice.
 
for DepEd, this concerns nation-wide support.  how many PLUG chapters are there in the different regions/provinces?

Hey Folks,

Just came from a meeting with some CICT folks and they are considering 
recommending Linux and OpenOffice.org for DepEd schools. The problem, 
though, is training and assistance. Maybe you guys can have ideas as to 
how to go about doing this and sustaining the project.
