if bayanihan is to be used, people should be contributing much to it.  ubuntu and other distros might have functionalities which are needed by our "target users".

the primary objective is for people to use linux.  the most appropriate distro should be used.  if bayanihan fits the tab, well and good.  otherwise, we should use another distro while supporting/developing bayanihan.

Subject: Re: [plug] Possible CICT Project

- Pay it forward is good.
- lets use Bayanihan Linux instead of Ubuntu & other distros (lets
support our own distro)
- In our area, Our government hired a small team of computer teachers
teaching elementary studs about windows. Teaching this elem studs to
use linux i guess is really a good way to start.
- I am willing to train our local elem school here if only there is a
course module.
- I am also willing to be trained just to enhance what i know...

did you know that local goverment uses pirated windows?
its now time to introduce bayanihan linux/openoffice.
