Really? I see that as a sign of our country's cohesiveness. Compared to
many countries, both of our parties are pretty moderate. We have plenty
of controversial issues to fight about, but you'll rarely find a
successful politician that is pure conservative or pure liberal. We
swing back and forth a little based on whose currently in power and
screwing things up, but sharp differences are pretty heavily punished.
