I have just upgraded my desktop from debian 9.x stretch to debian 10.0 buster. When I run apt update, I get this error message:
Error: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.systemd1.UnitMasked: Unit -.mount is masked. It appears to be related to packagekit. If I remove /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/20packagekit, I do not get the error message. Searching the net did not turn up anything useful. How do I get rid of the error message? -- "When we talk of civilization, we are too apt to limit the meaning of the word to its mere embellishments, such as arts and sciences; but the true distinction between it and barbarism is, that the one presents a state of society under the protection of just and well-administered law, and the other is left to the chance government of brute force." - The Rev.
