AFAIK The "herger.net" repository is M. Herger personal repository and should have nothing to do with BBCiPlayer but it is not in my control. I don't use it nor test against it. The bpaplugins/report-short.xml is my repository for latest released BBCiPlayer with DASH and BBCiPlayerExtra plugins. > Is everything I've noted correct? The whole point to 1.4.x was to use DASH. Your LIve stream setting doesn't use DASH. If you are happy with HLS and have no rebuffering there is no point in going to a 1.5 beta test. At this stage with 1.5.* I want user to actually use DASH for LIve (probably because they have rebuffering problems with any 1.4.* live streams) and reporting back whether they still have problems. There are a few small issues with 1.5.2 and so there will be at least one more update of 1.5.x before it is out of beta test. Your on demand settings do not include FlashAAC which may cause some BBCiPlayerExtra program not to play. I suggest the following settings. Live DASH > HLS > FlashAAC > MP3. OnDemand DASH > HLS > FlashAAC If you have Touch, Radio etc. with a colour display and like program images - you could uncheck the "Always display station Icon" > How do I install the beta test? Replace the "repo-short.xml" repository in Plugins tab by the URL below and click Apply * http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/betarelease-repo.xml* LMS should then show new versions of the BBC plugins as being available and proceed to enable. To roll back to 1.4.X - Uncheck the BBCiPlayer plugins in Plugins tab, click Apply and then replace the "betarelease-repo.xml" URL in Plugins by the "repo-short.xml" URL.
