Something I really like is that the file info 16/44 flac or whatever is the case, is shown in the album info. Also when there is a pdf booklet of the album on the server, it is shown and you can open it on your iPad etc.
You can use my Music & Artist Information plugin. It will expose text, pdf and image files found in the music folder.
