As you are using Synology DS: Here is how you can install 7.9 instead of
the older versions Synology ships by default.
- Navigate to Package Center
- Choose Settings, Beta, Yes I want to see beta versions
- Then You should be able to upgrade LMS to 7.9
Don't forget to switch you Squeezeboxes off and on again after the
upgrade.
