Ive investigated a lot the skipping issue and its due to a ssl connection problem with RP servers. Its a combination of your own OpenSSL version and RPs. When the connection is idle regularly for a few seconds because the client has buffered a lot, then the RP server either drops it or create a disconnect condition by doing something with the crypto. Its not LMS or the plugin that is the problem. Ive been able to reproduce that behavior precisely with a very small Perl script as well as a C version that just do download and 5 pause as soon as it has received enough data for real time playback (in other words, it garantes ~850 kbit/s downloads but it does 5 pause very often). LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
