This is standard in most BBC satuff now - for App and web .
{recipe} gets mapped into a BBC standard resolution such as 160x160 or
320x240 but some resolution/ratios are not supported - so for your
image only squares are supported 160x160, 240x240 or 320x320 but not
240x320
