Failed to get access token
Please check Settings/Advanced/Spotty Spotify for Squeezebox in the web
interface

I went and copied the web token (which I have never had to do on my home
system?) and it still has the same issue...

I'm sorry for the confusion here: the "token" is not the same thing as the "web token". The first token is what Spotty should get back from Spotify when authenticating. When this fails repeatedly you might want to re-authenticate. Remove your account from Spotty, and go through authentication again.
