Since scanning works it appears the connection and log in is fine.

Are you sure you don't have a firewall blocking traffic for LMS? The scanner is running in a different process, thus could have access where it's blocked for the main process. Because I'm still seeing this in your latest log file:

Error: Couldn't resolve IP address for: www.qobuz.com

If LMS can't reach out to qobuz.com, then you won't be able to use it.
