I tried to put it in git. The problem is that there are binary escape codes in the text files (UTF-8 characters) If you treat it as a binary file it works fine, but then you can't do diffs and patches. If you treat them as text files, the binary escape codes get lost.
After I lost all of the characters one time, I just aborted.
