I've manually installed DynamicPlayList-2.10.247.zip and SQLPlayList-2.6.272.zip in 8.1 and they work fine for my use case.
Thanks! I've added them to the list of unsupported, but likely compatible plugins which can optionally be listed in LMS 8.1's plugin manager.
