Pressing down then up or down and up works on my Zone 2. Up then down no result. I have just tried it on Zone 1 on a different Denon AVR and at first muting worked down then up, but down and up at same time didn't, nor did up then down. Interesting that it stopped working altogether i.e. dn then up wouldn't work and I must have tried it ten times. Then I used the phone vol buttons to greatly reduce the vol and after that it did (dn then up and also together, but still not up then dn. Then it went flaky again for a while. It is possibly my wifi I am guessing. If it becomes a feature I will turn logging onto debug and send it through.
