By way of update in case it is useful info. We had an unscheduled power outage today that messed up a lot of stuff mainly the last fm autoscrobbler. Mostly I have it all back to normal normal but there was some more strangeness on the Spotify Connect. The one player I have with connect ( see recent posts) failed to appear in the spotify app. It flashes up for a second but never persists. Log shows

Shame because it was quite a useful function but I do recognise that it's clearly very challenging to get it work.
