When you use the term laptop I assume you are referring to the remote machine running Squeezesoft that I am using to access Slimserver on my home computer. Assuming that is the case why would I have to open up port forwarding on my laptop? Wouldn't I need to do that on the router that my home computer is connected to and the firewall on that same machine? For the remote machine don't I just have to connect to the real IP address of my home router?
