Great work Graham. Was a bit concerned about changing after getting first version working perfectly but took the plunge and it was as simple as following the instructions and replacing the new dvbserver.pl in /usr/bin then rebooting and no problems whatsoever.
No dependencies on mplayer either - definitely a bonus. Thanks and would be great as a plugin eventually.
