Looks like Slimserver 6.5.5 / SB3 FW81 doesn't like a content type of audio/x-mpeg
Changed dvbserver.pl line 398 to audio/mpeg (for MP2 direct streaming) and all working very well now - may thanks! Only other (small) thing which needs a bit of cleanup is the metadata logic, which is a bit erratic - otherwise pretty much perfect.
