Erland, I enclose now copies of my server.log and scanner.log. I made a manual rescan (clicked on scan all) but the problem is still there. And during the scan (especially at the beginning) the server is almost unresponsive and scanning takes ages. After performing the scan I clicked on several menu items in the web interface which seems to generate errors in the log file.
