Try to remove the server.log file and see if you get that again after
restart, it indicates that something goes wrong during installation.

Look at the processor usage in the Task Manager, if it takes almost
100% CPU it's doing something.

On a normal computer, I'd expect Custom Browse to be up within a
minute. I've seen cases where TrackStat and Custom Scan might case
longer delays but Custom Browse should be pretty fast.

You could try to:
1. Shutdown Squeezebox Server
2. Delete the files/directories:
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Squeezebox\Cache\DownloadedPlugins\CustomBrowse.zip
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins\Plugins\CustomBrowse
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Squeezebox\Cache\FileCache
3. Startup Squeezebox Server
4. Reinstall Custom Browse through Plugins tab in Squeezebox Server
settings interface.
5. Let it restart and see if it works better
