It's the screen-savers screen. Of course this now reminds me that I installed CustomClock applet - which I guess is showing these messages.
BTW is there a license page with a complete listing of costs? I couldn't see anything off your wiki pages and the license page seems to allow only individual item pricing on request which is a bit laborious.
