For the record, Trackstat restore took 3 hours the second time with the option disabled for trying to match files. For around 25,000 tracks. I also had MIP update disabled because that seems to slow it down, also.
After it finished, I did what you said to remove unused statistics. It only took a minute or two to complete, and then when I created a backup it was very close in file size to the one I just restored, so I'm not sure if that did anything. I'll check the XML when I gat back to my PC. I have needed it a few times when my ratings got hosed. I wasn't using Smart Mix all that much because of the volume changes between local music and Rhapsody, but I see Michael has included a setting for that and I'm going to install it today.
