I've only installed 7.9 once: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1409327717 @ Sun Aug 31 04:02:35 UTC 2014 To be honest, I'm a bit fuzzy on when I actually noticed the behavior. It may actually have happened with a plugin update and not a server update.
