First, not sure if your Shivaplug has enough grunt to do the transcoding necessary. You may have more luck with the Joggler if it's running the squeezeplayOS (which is based on ubuntu 14.04) and you install LMS on that. I will be atttemting to get the PlayHLS plugin running on my Joggler on Sunday. Stay tuned for an update. just a warning - don't attempt to install ffmpeg on the Joggler - it will likely install a version which won't work.
