Can't help with the Shivaplug. The main problem with the plugin is finding a 'good' version of ffmpeg. The 'standard' debian version doesn't work well. I sumise that whatever version you get via the shivaplug squeezeplug won't work correctly. There was a earlier post about shivaplugs - I think it's arm5 . You need a recent version of ffmpeg - the standard debian version has big problems. However you proceed - I suggest you install WinSCP - assuming you have a windows PC - because you are going to need to login as root to your LMS machine in order to make some changes. I'll try to help if you go the squeezeplayOS route (assuming I get it working later today!)
