Are you sure miniserver is not doing any transcoding ? The M1 does not
show audio/wav in its ProtocolInfo. Maybe minimserver just 'tried' ?

I cannot think of a caching that would interfere, but don't go crazy. I
also might have left some error in the duration information - what's the
typical length of tracks you're trying ? I'm just thinking as I write
that about something stupid I've left for tracks > 1 hour. When you have
time, if you can just collect a log and tell me for which song it worked
/ did not work I might be able to find the difference.
