Castbridge used to work so well for me, and I was so very happy with
it.
The I decided to move LMS into a docker container (for a number of good
reasons).
I run the container in host mode and everything else works just fine -
like it used to. But I cannot get castbridge to work anymore. It finds
my CC's and it connects without any error message. If I change the
volume level, I hear the familiar 'blip' in the speakers, and the
progress bar in the player is running, but there's no music.
Somehow - I suspect that this is not a castbridge issue per say, but
that it has something to do with SW updates that Google has made to our
CC's (in the background).
Why do I say this?
Because several of my odd 3rd party casting apps that I have on my
Galaxy phone has also stopped working with more or less the exact same
symptoms.
But apps like Spotify, Netflix and Youtube works ok. And the casting tab
in my chrome browser on my Windows 10 PC works ok.
So the 'big guys' work, but all the 'little guys' do not work anymore -
including castbridge :-(
Are you aware of any changes made to the CC streaming protocol by Google
that could cause this?
