I agree in some ways and not in others. I must say that the solution has been
already provided if mankind has the willpower to make it happen. That is a
United Mankind under a Marxist System.
A clear reading of Marx, Engles and Lenin provide us with many insites to the
nature of humanity and the problems incountered by it. Primarily is the
Captialist method of production and consumption.
Now before you gasp "Marxist rubbish" and turn away deafly, let me point out
some very spacific ways that the captialist method of production/consumption
(because production and consumption are really two sides of the same coin)
hinders progress in the economic, political, cultural/social, and eviromental
fields.
First Economic. Captialism has produced very rich nations (US, Canada,
Austraila, New Zealand, UK and EU) and very poor ones. Why? The wealth that
was built in North America, Austrailia/NZ, UK and EU are products of the overt
imperial past, slavery and colonialism. In other words the European/Western
world stole the wealth of the Non-Western Afro-Asian world. Indeed it
increases poverty in the home countries of captialism the Euro-American world
by extracting greater and greater portions of wealth (which is derived by human
labor) for less and less wages in real terms. This is the main foundation of
the Political/cutural/social/enviromental problems of the world.
In the United States in particular Big Oil and have prevented the use of
Biofule such as B100 which is basicly filtered waste frying oil used in a disel
engine. The interesting thing is that when the disel engine was first invented
the fule that was used was vegitable oil, and that was in 1900! John D.
Rockefeller most certainly couldnt have farmers growing all the fule that we
would ever need--it would cut into his oil profits as electric lighting was
replacing oil lamps at the time so....naturally the result of captialists
working with other capitalists for their own greed we became dependant on
gasoline...which is less effecent then "traditional" disel, which is again
less effecent than the Biofule disel engine. In otherwords a select class of
people on the basis of greed decided to ruin the enviroment for their own bank
accounts.
In the Political and cultural fields the addiction to petroleum has resulted
in very rich Arabs that would like nothing better than to destroy the west, a
prime example of this is the multibillionare Osama Bin-Ladin.
Just some food for thought
DOES AMERICA NEED A REVOLUTION? OF COURSE IT DOES, HOW ELSE WILL THE
PROLETARIAT RID ITSELF OF THE CAPITALIST PARASITE CLASS.
