She was obviously using this approach to illustrate a few concepts that progressives are too dull to understand: 1. Liberals are constantly redefining terms with long held definitions to suit their narrative. 2. The term "Native American" is a misnomer since the ancestors of the various Indian tribes came from Eurasia by crossing the Bering sea when the Bering Strait was frozen, following migrating herds (i.e. they came here to exploit the natural resources). The first Americans were thus also immigrants. 3. Countries are voluntary (or involuntary for those living under Communist regimes) associations of people who have made a social contract to live by certain rules, including borders. A Country is not simply the land mass that you occupy.
These are apparently difficult concepts to comprehend for that segment of our society whose thoughts and actions are the outcome of random, hormone (or drug) induced neural firings in response to external stimuli.
