For some crazy reason I was put on the no fly list maybe 10 years ago, so I'm often "detained," sometimes for a couple hours. We were in Europe for the holidays and I got nabbed in Barcelona and Lisbon. I was held up in Lisbon for almost 4 hours, got the full-monty pat down. I've sent in documentation at least a half dozen times to get of the list, but to no avail.
Agreed about the double standard of Obama's 6 month ban. Not a blip from the press that I can remember. If he hasn't, Trump needs to hit this on his daily twitter.
