Hey, I know. My father passed away in the middle of the meltdown. By the time I was able to move his assets to a Residuary Trust with me as Trustee to split, the part of his estate that was in equities took a beating. I just got done with the carryovers. They made accounting for business losses, capital and operating, a real pain to take into account. Glad I've been retired through the Obama years. He hated working people and profitable businesses with a passion.
