We already assume responsibility for those that are not able to make their own decisions, legally, mentally. as to euthanasia... it is allowed in many countries as long as the person requesting it is found CAPABLE of doing so. we already PERSONALLY fund whatever just punishment is upheld by the courts or voted into law. This varies state to state. we uphold the family right to pull the plug to AVOID further costs on the extremely incapacitated.
This is NO different. We must allow the vessel to expel unwanted cargo. The person to be rid of the parasite. The responsible and able to communicate party that is INVOLVED to make the decision.
