Italian public opinion does not necessarily represent Europe!
Besides, I have read the Hamas Charter and there is nothing hateful
about it. They are and have been all along at war with Israel because
they were removed from their homes and land and deposited out there in
the desert.  Don't you know the history of this mess?  They want the
right to return.  They feel a responsibility for all of Islam to
defend its second most sacred place to Muslims, Jersalem.

Possibly, you see the world as divided into "good" and "evil."  This
is simplistic and has nothing to do with liberal or conservative. It
is simply "religion-think," irrational, ignorance, and blatant
prejudice.
