But the Republicans were in the majority at that time. Didn't your
post say "most conservatives" were up in arms? Or are you saying that
Republicans, at least  during Bush's 1st term, were NOT conservatives?
Or are you saying that they were simply ineffective and incompetent to
the point that they could not block legislation "most" of them were
"up in arms" about even when they were a majority in Congress?
 How many of these conservatives voted against the Patriot Act? Don't
fib, I'll Google it and check on ya'!!  :-)
